I give this book a 5 star rating because it is so fun to read for children especially little girls. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. This works very greenfieeld as a mentor text for young poets, or simply for a splash of fun in the day. The illustration on that page literally show the words coming out of her cousins mouth in a length type which creates the ideal of the elongated speech that she is talking about.


She takes time to talk about all the fun things she likes to do, like playing her school piano. By telling us of the gerenfield she enjoyed as a child, Eloise Greenfield evokes fond memories of childhood. With everything that’s going on in the world today, this is how a child should view their life.

She looks pretty in bows and shiny things, she loves to dance and sing, and even jump-rope. She took time to really talk about the little beautiful things in life that I might take for granted. All children will be able to relate hreenfield at least one thing described in this book. It is a book intended for children ages 2 and up.

My favorite part was when she brought up playing piano because I played piano growing up. She even mentions how she loves her cousin’s southern accent. Some lovee rhyme, some poems do not rhyme; some poems are long, some greebfield are short; some poems talk about the outdoors, some talk about the indoors. A great example of this is when the main character is talking about when she visits with her cousin who is from the South and Poetry book: Honey, I Love is a poem about the simple things in life that bring us joy.


The illustrations were really warm and welcoming. C- One example I thought was really sweet was when the little girl describes what she loves about playing dolls with Renee.

The illustrations even allow the reader or audience to understand the little girl’s playful personality better. This was an okay poetry book. The book can also be used to discuss all the different things that people like, which can lead to a discussion about students likes and dislikes. Like Honfy said one big long sentence. I really enjoyed reading.
